Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival! Volunteers are the backbone of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and the difference between a good volunteer program and a great one is that the volunteers have a wonderful time while they are working for the event. A team of almost 1,000 volunteers are needed to produce the Cherry Creek Arts Festival each year. Your help is welcome and greatly appreciated. The Cherry Creek Arts Festival’s mission is to provide access to a broad array of arts experiences and support arts education in Colorado. Our volunteer team understands that mission and works towards its goals by volunteering for one of our many committees during the event.

We welcome your involvement in Denver’s premier and highest quality arts festival, and for helping us fulfill our mission of providing access to a broad array of arts experiences and supporting arts education in Colorado. Calling All Volunteers! 

Every year more than 1,000 dedicated, engaged, community-minded and fun volunteers step up to make our three-day Festival happen! Volunteering at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival gives participants an exclusive, behind-the-scenes appreciation of the artists and art that make the Festival so enticing and fun.

At the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, our volunteers play a huge part in our success! Here’s some important information on being a volunteer:


We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled shifts are absolutely necessary. VERY IMPORTANT: If your schedule must change, or if you have an emergency, please contact us immediately!

Arrivals & Breaks

You must check in at the Volunteer Headquarters (location TBD) at the beginning of each shift you work. Please try to arrive 20-30 minutes early. Volunteers will receive breaks for each shift, which will be coordinated by your Committee Chairs.


Every volunteer receives the Official Cherry Creek Arts Festival Volunteer T-shirt. This shirt must be worn while you are working at the Arts Festival. Please do not make any alterations to your T-shirt while you are volunteering for the CCAF. An opportunity to receive your t-shirt will be provided prior to the event.


All volunteers, new and returning, are requested to review the Volunteer Handbook prior to the Arts Festival. The Handbook and other information will be sent to you prior to the event. Things change every year and it is vital that you know the new information.

Meals & Beverages

Volunteers will be offered a variety of snacks and beverages before and during their shift, along with a meal token to be used at any of the on-site food vendor booths. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed before or during a volunteer’s shift.

Social Media Team

We are looking for smart, eager social media wizards to volunteer to help us cover the Festival on July 1, 2, and 3. We are looking for outgoing individuals with strong social media experience, superb writing skills, and a knack for taking quality photos. Please send a cover letter and resume, with clear indication of social media knowledge and abilities, and two writing samples, to Cristina Ceballo at by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 16.
