Color Field Tactile Painting
CherryArts presents “Color Field Tactile Painting” for low vision and blind visitors, as well as others that would like to experience art making without the use of vision. Join us as we create using the primary colors (red, yellow and blue) and use them with tactile materials, (blue in spray bottle, red with sponge and yellow with a dropper) to pair with the primary colors and make a rainbow of beautiful new colors in an abstract artwork. Children will be offered blacked out sunglasses to wear during the art-making process to further take advantage of the sensitivity project. This activity was created in partnership with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, CO Department of Labor and Employment.
